hi all too many punctures recently,so have decided to swap my kenda 27.5 x 2.1 for puncture resistant tyres
Schwalbe energiser plus seem to fit the bill being ebike specific, puncture protection level 5.
I decided a slimmer tyre might give better range as I am on cycle track and roads mainly tarmac.
I have ordered Schwalbe 47-584 energiser plus 27.5 x 1.75 (at least I think so) googling 47-584 seems to give me info that it is indeed the correct tyre.

have ordered from Germany but not too sure if I have dropped a goolie as regards the tyre size

your input pleasehttps://www.ebay.co.uk/p/2x-Schwalbe-47-584-Energizer-Plus-Wired-Reflex-Black-skin/1651240333

should be about £42 a pair including delivery ?

Hi footpump,
What a coincidence today today I also had changed mine over like for like after 5.5yrs of wear and tear. That's a good price too £42 quid all in. My tyres are Marathon Plus Tour.

MS.

Great tyres these, no punctures in nearly 3000 miles, great grip, low rolling resistance and hard wearing, whats not to like?. Plus the size I use are only about £11 each from SJS cycles

With today's tyres it is more where you ride not what tyres you ride on that define the rate of punctures. I am lucky to ride on relatively clean roads and my Big Bens are wearing out, not going flat after about 1700 km. I like these tyres because they are really sticky and I haven't noticed that 2" wide tyre reduce range? They are much more comfortable and confidence inspiring.
