You are of course quite correct and there is another tradegy here which People have failed to mention. If Oscar Pistorious had been without arms, this shooting would never have happened. Also, his girlfriend must have been terrified as she instantly realised that Oscar was armed, as these were the only two limbs that he possessed.

His defence of sleeping with a gun and baseball bat in order to fend of intruders will be torn to pieces by the prosecution. Why would you do this when you have two wooden legs to hand?

I suspect that the Pope has been forced to resign amid some sort of scandal which The Catholic Church wants to keep secret. In their eyes it must have been something pretty bad, even depraved. I'm guessing that its going to be something along the lines of him having slept with a heterosexual adult woman.

I bet he's timed his resignation so that he still gets paid to the end of the month though. The crafty bastard.

There's probably an element of our large cultural difference driving the black humour, as much about the society than the individuals. Here in Britain the husbands of unhappy wealthy couples mostly just take part in public slanging matches, followed by divorces with a large cash settlements, no guns. Viz the McCartneys.
