Hi there and can anyone please help me with some advice about replacement batteries for my amazing fun vehicle which is a pdq xtra power trike bought around 5 yrs ago.
Robin Tarr ( nice guy ) advertised in the Forward magazine ( Spinal Injuries Association ) for people with Spinal Cord Injuries and I eventually bought Robins nearly new Mk1 pdq trike and I now need to replace the lead acid cells in the enormously heavy 36 volt 7amph battery box.
I have purchased the 2 twelve volt 7amph lead acid cells but in the box there are also two 6 volt 7amph cells and as I have 2 batteries I need to purchase ( in total ) 4 batteries and 2 spares so 6 of these.
phil.barush sells the 12 volt 7amph but I couldn't see on his site that he sold the 6 volt size and I have had no reply to my email from the company.
Are there mad people like myself somewhere on the pedelecs site who love getting out on their old pdq or trailrider trike/wheelchair combo to add the power and choice and control of leaving the pavement and road? Until recently I had a lovely Border Collie named Billy Woof and it was great to race him as he could run at about 7mph as he retrieved balls that I launched from a " flinger "Thanks Alison
