I’m currently trying to help a friend with an issue on his Ridstar E-Bike, they use a standard Brushless Motor kit from China, and it’s lost all power all of a sudden! I’ve checked the connections and everything seems to be okay, nothing obvious to me problematically, and I’ve done a test with an Ammeter through the circuit, seems to have power and resistance going through the system, for example, the battery is passing power into the ECU ok, which is passing power to the Motor, the Phone charging port and the Crank Sensor, could the ECU be fried and need replacing? If anyone has any tips with this that would be amazing!! Oh and I should also mention my next hunch if the ECU is replaced and doesn’t work is the lock barrel and throttle may not be relaying the signal of “power on”?
Carry out a mosfet resistance check on the three controller phase wires, there should be plenty of references of how to do it using the search forum. D8veh/vfr & I have posted many times how to.
