A long read if anyone has time this grey afternoon. What started with a picture of a Tern next to a Cybertruck turned into an idea about researching the resources used to manufacture each and how capable each one is in reality for the same task.

It might help if in Britain it wasnt raining al the time and we had a decent cycle track system, instead of piecemeal that are at best poor and at worst downright dangerous.

Solving the safe route issue might put more people on two wheels, as it is many cars might have 4-5 seats, but usually only have one person in them. So it doesnt really matter if it is fossil fuel or EV, much of the problem is congestion.
