Request from an ebike owner for a kids bike HELP!

Apologies for posting a non ebike question though I do have one!

I want to get my 6 year grandson a new bike for his birthday.

Does anyone have any idea who, in these crazy times, might just have one for sale?

I've starting looking at eBay, Gumtree and the like without success.

Are they really an impossible purchase at the moment?

Anyone got a second hand for sale? (I'm in North Yorkshire)

Have you considered a recycled cycle. There are a number of Bike Projects that do this. Take in donated bikes, do them up and sell them. Kids grow out of bikes so fast these days it does make you wonder if buying new is worth it. But then again we all love a new bike don't we. I am from down South so don't know of any such Projects in Yorkshire but I am sure a Google search will unearth some up that way. Good luck in your quest.
