Hi all, I'm looking for a smaller framed ebike for my overweight, short legged boyfriend 'Paul'. He's 5' 6" and 19 stone, with a 28" inside leg measurement. He needs to lose some weight fast.

I'm looking for a mountain bike style type of ebike, with a decent battery and a throttle, that could be suitable for him. Could someone please advise me. Other than telling him to eat less, all suggestions and any links welcomed. :D Budget isn't sky high, but we'll try to be flexible on...

Maybe one of these https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?gran-camino

it says minimum height 5'8" but maybe Woosh could fit a seat or something so it fits 5'6" ?

Or they could possibly fit the same motor and kit to a small framed donor bike and build it for you

I can fit an unsprung seat post for someone who is 5ft6

Hi Woosh, thanks for your reply. Can you message me with any ebikes and their prices that fits my boyfriends needs please. :)

Why ebike? Why MTB?

What you need IMO are 2 cool non electric step through bikes and easy cycling tracks to spend time together.

Edit: Watched your video a bit... Saddle is to high. When you learn to ride bike saddle should be low so learner could have firm contact with ground. There will be time to raise seat later.
