Appreciate that technical information is no longer allowed but thought I would try my luck.
With reference the the Bosch centre drive system, shortly to arrive on my new KTM.
As I understand, the maximum speed of the system is determined by encoder pulse rate from the back wheel. Correct?
On old models, the encoder could be moved to reflect crank speed. Thereby speeding up the system. I am told that the software will no longer allow this.
Any reason why a PIC or similar could not be programmed to take in rotational pulses and output a scaled or algorithm based version?
Sounds feasible to me. Any thoughts? Also anyone have wiring, pinout details of this sensor.
I assume that is a plug in version.
