I have had a WIndsor Powacycle for 12 years but the motor has packed up for the second time and given itd general flakiness am thinking better to get a new bike. I would have just got another WIndsor as I have 2 batteries but, apparently, they are not making them anymore so a question mark over spares. What could people recommend for a step thru/ductch style bike with at least 13ah battery and around £1,000 please? Someone suggested a Basis Cardinal which meets the criteria but how robust might it be and how easy to get it maintained? Thanks for your help. The budget is because bikes get stolen so frequently in Cambridge. The WIndsor survived partly because it looks rather rubbish.
