I have finally lost patience with my Trek Valencia due to rear wheel spoke issues. The bike, which is already a replacement for the original I purchased has once again let me down. The bike is being sent off soon and I hope that I will be able to get a non-Trek replacement to a similar value.
Looking at the bikes my LBS carry my favourite looks like the Giant Talon 29er closely followed by the KTM Macina 29. I am looking for some advice if anyone owns or is familiar with these bikes.
The bike will be used for a daily commute of 18 miles total all on road.
