Apologies, the five pin connector shown is incorrect, the one I need has this type.

The part you need is a really common part used across a number of e-bike manufacturers - it's not obscure, particularly difficult to obtain, or exclusive to Eskute. As far as I can see, your Eskutes use the DPC07 CAN display with the Bafang M200 motor. One of my own bikes uses the identical looking DPC07 UART display with the Bafang M400 motor.and I'm faced with a relatively intractable problem that I've never experienced before
My thinking was that Woosh already use the DPC07 display on their own Rambla bike here. Knowing how helpful Woosh always are, they may have access to or a source for spares for their own warranty replacement? There's a thread here on the forum where BEB swapped out a DPC07 for one of their own stock upgraded Bafang colour displays; that may be an option too. As experienced users and resellers of Bafang drive systems, in the absence of Eskute actually giving a damn, I'm only suggesting there are many knowledgable Bafang dealers/resellers about who'd likely want to help.BEB oe woosh won't source the part as they wil have to deal in volumes and not just a one off purchase, it is the way china does business.
Many thanks for that. I connected the controller on my bike to the feed on my wife's, and my controller lit up. Does this not suggest that the problem is my wife's controller that's at fault. This is all new to me and had I had adequate support from Eskute, we could have worked through the problem. I understand that controller malfunction is pretty rare so I appreciate your comments. I will contact Woosh anyway, speaking to a helpful, friendly pedelec dealer would be a tonic in itself! My thinking was that Woosh already use the DPC07 display on their own Rambla bike here. What is unclear, in hindsight, is what is actually wrong with the OP's display? Is the problem actually the display? The OP seems confident it is, but a dead or malfunctioning display could equally be a comms/power issue with the controller... or even just a loose plug on that board? It hasn't been said. Just curious.
Thanks for that very useful information. I seem to have found the access to pedelec information that I had no idea existed, I just wish I could turn the clock back to November 2021 and was looking to buy two pedelecs! The irony is that all the problems I've had, with the exception of this one could be fixed by a trained chimpanzee so why Eskute don't up their game and offer an acceptable level of support is beyond me.You're lucky to have bought two bikes where you can easily swap-out components to fault find, otherwise you'd be scratching your head!
For clarity, the display is the stuff on the handlebars - buttons and screen - which communicates with the controller. The controller is a separate logic board which, in your case as a crank-driven Bafang M200, is inside the motor (you'd need to remove the left pedal crank and motor cover to access it). The controller is the brains that interprets what you want to do from the display buttons as well as signals from a speed sensor and how much pressure you're putting on the pedals, and tells the motor what to do. They communicate digitally using UART on older systems like mine, or by CANbus, which is the newer standard as yours seems to be.
If you swapped the display over from your other bike and all worked, then yes, I'd say the display is at fault too.
For your future reference, as Eskute sell direct and don't actually have any dealers(?): CANbus systems usually require plugging in to a dealer's PC software system to fully diagnose faults (Besst). Volt E-bikes (who AFAIK assemble their e-bikes in Milton Keynes) have 100 nationwide dealers and use the same Bafang M200 drive on their Connect and Regent e-bike models. E-bike retailers selling those Volt models will likely have the Bafang diagnostics software (in case you ever need it).
