Trying to return to e-biking after a period of ill-health we find ourselves lumbered with two dead batteries - one won't charge and the other will charge but only functions downhill for a mile ... so, need 36v 8ah two prong battery. I've noticed an add on Ebay for GreenCell batteries, £150 each. Can anyone please advise about this company (or any other?). It must be at least 8 years since I last bought a bike battery!
Many thanks, and best wishes for sunny cycling.

Can't recommend them personally but they seem/appear like a big outfit,a couple of forumites have used them.

This last post in this thread though not a great advertisement for the company supplying the right item does show them in agood light regarding rectifying issues.

As long as it fits and the voltage is right it need not be 8ah. A battery with bigger ah should work well and give better range (and be more expensive).
