Repair/Parts/Elite electric bicycle

We were left an electric bike when we moved into our new house - an ‘’Elite’’ electrical bicycle manufactured in China (Shangai) & Singapore. So far we haven't been able to locate any information about it over the net.

There is a fault with it: the power comes on but the hand accelerator hand turn has no effect. Can you please forward me an address/contact number for a distributor(s) in the UK (London) whom I may contact for repair/service?

I don't know this bike, but a quick check - you may have to pedal for the throttle to work- have you tried that?

As pgbw says, it may be permanent pedelec Richard, throttle via pedalling only.

Elite electric scooters are still around, but there no longer seems to be a sign of the e-bikes in the UK now. I believe Electricbikesdirect handled them at one time, but if you draw a blank there, here's a US supplier you could mail for information.
