Repair my icharger 106B

Hello,

My icharger 106B has been damaged when I was carrying it. My mistake not having the aluminium cover on it (I removed it in order to have noiseless fan).

None of the buttons work (highlighted in red). They have been crushed I think.


Anyone can help to make it work?

They're only touch switches. You can solder a piece of wire to each side and use external momentary switches (push to make).

Who knows? Test the switches with a meter.

You mean take something like a screwdriver and push where were the switches?

The switches have four legs. Two on one side connect to the two on the other side when you press the switch. You need a meter set to test continuity (beep) to test if anything is happening. You can use a piece of wire as a jumper to join each side like when you press the switch to see if it wirks, but be careful not to touch anything other than the switch pads.

I've been playing arounf today and it seems that the switches are getting crazy. whenever I try to push on them it either doesn't work or push many times, or long time.

I can't manage to set anything and I'm considering removing all the switch to see if it's better.

But there isn't any screw or anything and I'm not sure taking them off by hand would be a good idea as it will damage it

Have you got "a loose article" - post-manufature metallic debris, small screw, or loose solder in there that is shorting out on a random basis when you shake the device - suggest you disconnect it and give it a good shake over some white paper if you can, and see if anything comes out.
