Over the past months I have bought some plug and play items over the web from cyclone-tw.com and been happy with them.
I pondered over the Double Freewheel Clockwise Motor, as there did not appear to be space on the gearbox output shaft for two freewheels until I read on Endless Spheres forum that the gearbox shaft carries a roller clutch, which I am told is of the same style as a normal freehub. This one way clutch carries a single sprocket driving the rear chain alongside a standard freewheel driven by the cranks and chainring. I have not yet mounted the motor but this arrangement permits the motor or cranks or both to drive and all spin very freely. Depending on geometry of the bike or trike the chain runs may be direct and without jockey wheels.
After this last purchase there was a mundane hiccup as sometimes happens, there was no technical or financial concerns on my part but I made an offer which Paco of Cyclone promptly bettered. I now have a new respect for this supplier and am happy to recommend them.
