Hi,
I'm a musician (violinist) in early 70s and very recently bought an Ebco Eagle and am enjoying cycling in Oxford apart from the fact that all the cycle tracks seem flooded so I'm using main roads which in Oxford usually have cycle lanes.
The Eagle is ideal for me as it allows me to input as much as I want and is fantastic on hills. So far 40km with battery indicator on over half left.
Oxford has loads of cycle stands but finding one is not easy as most students have bikes, but also I'm quite cocerned about theft and vandalism. I'm using a substantial Squire bike lock with a circular key and the battery compartment has a lock. Any further security advice would be welcome.

Hi Mike,
I always put a cable lock through the front wheel & sprung seatpost on mine as both are quick-release.

Oh - and, where feasible, park it next to a desirable bike with a naff lock....
