Rear wheel hub going backwards

Hi all.
I received my 1500w kit throttle only no screen. I have a 48v 15ah battery all fitted fine just the wheel spinning backwards iv tried changing the phase wires. Also there is a grey wire male and female. Is that the self learning cable?
Really at a whits end now.
