Rear cassette

My ebike is 2 months old, and not having any knowledge of how components should working my question is, on cleaning I noticed when rear wheel is spinning and cassette stationary it as slight side to side movement, is this normal, I am asking before phoning supplier and looking a twit.

I’d never really thought about it before but I’ve just had a look at my bikes and all 3 have a slight movement. Don’t worry about it just enjoy your riding

A freewheel is self tightening, so if it is a cassette is the lock ring tight. None of my cassette's has lateral play.

Thanks for replying, sounds like I may have to phone supplier, no idea with lock ring, sorry for sounding stupid.
