Does anyone know where I can get a replacement 36v 250W 26" Front wheel motor hub (originally E Motion Motor) for my Ladies Raleigh Velo Trail. The gears have perished and they are not the normal planetary gears that you can just pick up from ebay they appear to have 3 gears and then each gear has a smaller one fixed into the top of it!!. Raleigh gives part code for the wheel motor hub but when i try to buy it says none in stock :-( . Really not sure what to do as I've only just been given it and I absolutely loved my 2 days out on it!! before catastrophe struck.

The planetary gears are probably like those in Aikema hubs they are stepped for higher motor reduction making pedalling easier unpowered.

Yes if you can get the reduction gears then it will be cheaper.

If you can remove one that looks not to damaged it might be possible to get them made up with a 3d printer.
