Radrunner

Featured Replies

When I first saw it, I thought it was marvellous! I must be a salesman's dream, but I was looking at it again today, and it's not for me. £70 for mudguards, single speed, no suspension, and those b****y great tyres that create so much drag. (Expensive to replace as well). Their cargo bike and city step-through I like, but none of the others. Just a thought.

Hi,

Did you buy one?

I owned a radrunner 1 for a short amount of time this year and it did not live up to expectations. It was not a good bike.

First, it is embarrassing to ride. It looks totally weird and people really notice it and comment on it - not in as good way.

Second, it just isn't powerful enough. It struggled up a steep hill near me and it then becomes very difficult to ride. Forget putting any kind of cargo on it. Only one gear makes this so much worse.

Third, the radrunner is so so so heavy. Its horrible to move it around when not cycling.

It's just not worth it, there are much better bikes out there. Not worth the time, money or effort.

Good luck.
