Hi everyone

I am extremely worried about my wisper being stolen and I want to put a D Lock on it. But the standard d-locks do not fit onto the bike due to the location of the battery. And we could not see any other way for that one would fit onto it.

Is there a special type that I need to buy? Where should I be looking?

Thanks for your advice!

Welcome to the forum Kam, I hope you enjoy your new Wisper 905se.

I think you'll find it just as convenient to use the upper rear frame triangle tube as that will fall alongside most cycle stand uprights. With a high value bike like yours, it's a good idea to use two locks if the bike is to be left any length of time. Having a D lock, plus a heavy duty chain or cable lock around the crossbar to the stand or railing is offputting to any would be thief.

There's a thread on Electric Bike security you might find of interest. If you read through it you'll find plenty of information on vulnerability of some locks and much else.
