Question about Bosch E-bike Flow app

I'm using the current version of E-bike Flow with a 2023 Gazelle and an Android phone (Samsung galaxy A14). All is good except for one mystery. At top left of my home screen, alongside the time, there's always a bicycle symbol. When i drag down, it says "Keep e-bike connected".

Does anybody know what this actually means?

mine comes on when it connects to the bike with bluetooth but leaving that on nukes the batts so turn it off then i open the app up with the bt on so it can then connect again.

Thanks - and sorry for the delay in checking back here. Life got in the way ...

Sorry for being thick about this, but how do you mean exactly? How do I actually go about turning it off and on? I'd like to get it so I can switch it on before a ride and off after, and know that for the rest of the time it's not draining my phone.

turn off the bt and it will go away but then you need to turn on bt and open the app so it connects again
