Saddened by the news today. Shame she didn't make it to 100.

Her son King Charles III pays tribute to his "beloved mother" who has died peacefully at Balmoral.

Quite surprised by the sudden news.
After seeing pics of QE2 this week meeting the new PM, she was lokking very frail.
Obviously she was frailer then any one but the close circle of family and those in the know knew.
