Hi...I've been running 3 year old freego for last 2 months with no problems.
A few days ago it was out in the rain for half an hour and then it wouldn't start.
...plenty of power in the battery but none getting through to the bike.
.....anyone any idea what I could look at ?

....appreciate any advice.....Mike

Have you got the manifold on the headstock and the connectors between it anf the things on the handlebars? If so, unplug the brakes, otherwise open the controller compartment under the battery and disconnect the brakes there. They're the connectors with two wires.

....'preciate it......
....cheers....Mike

PS. forgot to say that all lights on handlebar console are working ok.

There's wires that run from the throttle, display and the brakes. Do they each go through an in-line connector to a little block that only has one wire coming out?

Hi d8veh.....I have unscrewed the tiny blocks fastened to the underside of the brakes, I've removed the block from the handlebar stem and removed the front, all seems to be in order here, no broken wires....what can I do ?

thanks....Mike

Just unplug the brake connector and leave them disconnected while you try it.

Just unplug the brake connector
...are you referring to the tiny block connectors on the underside of the brake levers ?....if so, I've done that...doesn't work.
cheers....Mike

Isn't there another connector between the brake and the manifold?

On that age of Freego there should be an 8 way rectangular connector between the chainring and the rear wheel bound in tie wraps and rubber (follow the cable from the controller)

The pins can get corroded and/or pushed back examine it carefully when apart

I replaced mine with the newer round small connector that they now use - deep joy soldering 16 connections :)

New connector:
