Problems with Avanti GS already?

2 questions really

1) As mentioned in my previous thread, my bike has done around 200 miles and i have started to notice a vibrating sound from te front hub when the hub is under load. This vibration never used to occur, so im wondering if its an early sign of failure?

2) Also im not sure my battery is that good. Its a li-on battery

Initially the battery lasted 18 miles, with a performance drop after 16. I class a performance drop when i notice that the support from the bike when im peddling and the top speed in electric only mode is lowered considerably then when fully charged. 200 miles and after around 20-25 charges later I notice the performance drop on a fully charged battery now occurs after just 10 miles on average. To help provide some context, along the same stretch of flat road after the performance drop the top speed unassisted is 4 MPH less then when the bike is first used after recharge.

As mentioned previously, performance has dropped considerably in the month i have used the bike from 16 miles to only 10.

I have also noticed that the battery range of the bike is reduced from the 18 miles i got when first purchased to around 16.5 miles in just the month of usage; both figures are substantailly lower then the 20-25 miles specified on the website I bought the bike from.

Any ideas guys?

With regard to the front wheel trouble, I would suggest checking the nuts are tight and that the axle is properly seated in the drop-outs.

With regard to the battery, perhaps a few deep discharges would help, followed by recharging after every trip no matter how short, but allow at least half an hour for the battery to cool to room temperature before recharging.

This won't solve your problems I know but:

Check the website where you bought your Synergie Avanti G2 because on the main Synergie website and on Ebay it's:

Lithium Ion Battery 24v 10Ah, Range: 15-25 Miles (Conservative figure) and not 20-25 miles, that's the range claimed for the Mistral with the 36v battery.
