Hi All

I may be being thick here but what is the difference between the pro connect and the agattu diamond? are they the same thing?

The Pro connect is lighter, it doesn't have suspension and is more expensive!.
They both have the same electric bits though I think.

The Pro-Connect. Quite a lot lighter, rigid forks, no sprung seatpost, no hubdyno, in other words a bike that's sport biased, but still using the same Panasonic unit. Much dearer than the Agattu.

And of course the Agattu is a true workhorse utility bike, sprung forks and seatpost, hubdyno lights, strongly and heavily built and ready for anything from carrying the groceries or a nipper in a child seat to hauling a child or goods trailer.

I thought the weight was 20.8kg on both!

I dont think anyone can judge the pro-connect until you demo it.
I test rode the Agattu this week and it was fab and rode like silk.
Loved the bike, though hated the look.
I think the Pro-connect could address those issues though in respect of looks for me !

its the best bike going, but you have to pedel all the time. There's no resting unless you stop. But with the power on hand I dont really think you'll get out of breath.

Hi Burncycle, I guess you rode the wave frame, stepthru Agattu. A diamond frame version of the Agattu is due to arrive in the UK next month, you would probably find that more attractive.

Call me a cynic but the due arrival date for this bike changes quite a lot. In fact, the due arrival date was mentioned to me as being "the end of next month".....this really means April, doesn't it? Even then, we'll see...

There is a point of great similarity between the Pro-Connect and the Agattu.....
