What to I need to get or ask for in the shop?

Hope someone can help.

I'm not sure what width the Pro Connect uses, but on the the tyre wall will be one of these size makings, so ask for that:

Schrader valve inner tube, 28x1.75, 28x1.90, 28x1 1/2, 700x38B (40-60x622, 40-635)

It's probably the 28" x 1.75"
.

your tyres seem to be 700 x 37 which means that you want a tube like the one below which covers 32-47 widths. I got mine on wiggle.

Continental Quality Inner Tube
Car Type 700x32-47

Ive emailed Lloyd, he should know.

just done my commute (test run) on my nice new Pro-Connect.

5.84miles 543feet climb.
12 hills, with 2 at 1 in 10.

Did it in 29mins
Max speed 28.1mph
Average speed 11.8mph

Not bad i suppose and im unfit (and very sweaty afterwards).
Another shower in order.

Hi Paul.
I used 2nd gear with the 1 in 10's

Yesterday I tacckled a 1 in 7 and I had to use 1st.
Mainly just to stop myself getting overtired and a little oversweaty.
I need to get fitter and then reasses the gear situation.
Got my 18 tooth sprocket though sitting in a box.

Whats your hills like Paul?

Oh.
I got my return email for reference.

The Pro Connect runs a 28'' x 1 3/8 - 1 5/8 tyre and tube, with a woods valve, but it will also take a presta valve. They both use the same adapter. The alternative measurement is 37-622.

No your wrong Keith!
After the six mile ride I then detoured to the Local and had a pint for my efforts.
Antiperspirent use will increase though.
Had 3 showers already

Shower 1 Morning.
Shower 2 Post bike ride.
Shower 3 Gardening.

I've made the hat-trick.

Should read Schrader valve.

Still having poblems regarding getting an inner tube for this tyre.
Both shops I have rang seems to need a bit more information regarding the tyre i need.
They asked is it a 700c

Ive told them all the info I have, but they seem a bit vague.

Help me if you can.
