Pro Connect rear wheel

Had a rear wheel problem with my Pro Connect whilst on holiday in Provence....ended up with a badly buckled rear wheel .....caused mostly by a French bike shop trying to straighten a slightly buckled rear wheel. Rear wheel suddenly jammed but luckily only riding at walking pace .Took wheel to local velo man who tried his best to straighten it but in fact made things much worse. No 24 spoke Shimano rims rims available from 50 cycles or anyone else so cannot rebuild .50 Cycles supplied a new 09 spec wheel which has 36 spokes and an Alfine Hubgear.Took me ten mins to fit so now back on road after a month without my favourite toy.

Good to hear that you're back on the road again after 50cycles came up trumps with the best solution. This should be the end of rear wheel problems for you.
