Why do you ask? You know they are the legitimate government of Afghanistan, Afghanistan is a member of the UN, COP is organised by the UN.
Legitimate?

Is that a joke?

They swarmed into the civilsed regions, killed all opposition, banned women from working, speaking or laughing and stopped ALL female education.

They are intent on imposing the conditions of sixth century Arabia.
What planet are you on?

Legitimate my ar se.

I really have difficulty figuring out where your hatred of Ed Miliband comes from
He reads the Daily mail, who tell him how to think.

Did anyone notice who Trump wants to run the USA? RFK, elon musk, Matt Gaetz, Tulsi Hubbard, Pete Hegseth...
It's all about corruption and loyalty. Not a single nomination on competence.

You're nuts. Elon Musk is probably the most successful business person in the world. Stop reading the Guardian and watching the BBC. They're stewing your brain. And it's Tulsi Gabbard, not hubbard. she's brilliant too. I'd have picked all of them to be in my team. You're going to see some real fireworks now. I wish we could have it in our country.

Real fireworks? You're probably right on the description. They are going to burn down the US institutions like Mao burnt books. They are going to start a revolution. Those Latino and arab Americans, those who can't afford health insurance, those who do two or three jobs to make ends meet, those who can't buy a house and have to rent, those who do 'black jobs' or simply are blacks or have migrants in their family, those who expect cheaper food, household goods, electricity and gas, will soon regret to have voted for Trump.

About Musk, he needs to stop the Chinese selling cheap EVs into the US either by US subsidiaries or via Mexico or Canada or the EU. BYD is going after Tesla in China. They just cut 4000 dollars across all their EVs.
Tesla isn't Nvidia or TSMC. He doesn't have exclusive technology of his own. He builds his cars with Chinese parts.
When BYD becomes the world largest carmaker, Musk will need to launch another digital coin and exchange of his own soon to milk maga. He'll need to control the SEC.
Harris would not allow him to do that.
The Chinese also launch more satellites than he does. He also needs to own nasa. Without nasa, he will run out of clients.

That's what they said last time when Trump became president. They were all wrong just like you are now, as you'll see.

So Fake "factcheck.org" is funded by a "foundation" that has $2billion of stock in Johnson & Johnson? Oh, very "independent" then "impartial", and no "conflict of interest"? Despite being in their pocket!
"But rather than a categoric denial, fact checking the fact checkers proved that they are indeed funded by Johnson and Johnson's parent organisation. owned by the former director of the CDC" Kerching!

If you think Musk is rich, you are only partially right. He is extremely rich by common standards but his money is based on shares he has on a carmaker with 85+ p/e ratio. It's a cult, not rational market pricing.
Di you know that Tesla has never paid any dividend? And won't pay any in the foreseeable future? Yet an army of tubers speak constantly of sunlit future.
His X is not even a proper business, it has never made any money. The whole edifice can crumble instantly 4 years from now.
As for Trump, he won this time but history will remind everyone that his victory is based not on the greatness of character but on misinformation.

Who cares about dividends? I took a gamble that Trump was going to win, so I bought Tesla shares at $252 on Nov 5th. I sold half of them three days later for $325. That's paid for my Xmas and allowed me to buy one of your TSDZ8s, so we all won. I'll keep the rest for long term growth. Trump will do such a good chance sorting everything out, that his lot will be in power for the next two or three terms, so I can't see it crumbling, but I'm still thinking that the other lot are going to do something drastic to upset it all. They've gone too quiet. Get ready for a new pandemic or nuclear war. What else can they do?

6 months from now when the fallout and backlash of the tariffs begin to bite and inflation rises, the US standard of living will begin to drop, Trump will blame Musk and Musk will retreat to X and go on a rant about what a fool Trump is.

Any claims Trump makes about ending the war in Ukraine, even if he threatens to cut off supplies to Ukraine, to create a 800 mile buffer zone might be accepted by Ukraine grudgingly, but no way the Russians will agree, especially if that area is managed by the French, English and maybe German military. Russia will see that as basically NATO being there.
He can pretty much go on indefinitely. They aren't going to run out of soldiers any time this decade. Ukraine on the other hand is already experiencing a personnel problem

I think it is the tech bros vs the nativists. The tech bros will win (Vance is Thiel's protege). They are an assassination / 25th amendment away , although as long as Elon is running things, they don't need that.

"They and Thiel all have ties to a branch of the New Right known as NatCon, whose adherents believe, broadly, that the establishment needs to be torn down, much as Thiel and his fellow Silicon Valley disrupters believed two decades ago that the future lay in destroying longstanding business models and practices."

"I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible....

Since 1920, the vast increase in welfare beneficiaries and the extension of the franchise to women — two constituencies that are notoriously tough for libertarians — have rendered the notion of “capitalist democracy” into an oxymoron."

There's certainly good motivation for techbros of that ilk to continue bigly bankrolling a similarly massive steaming societal bowel movement this side of the pond.

how much more freedom do they need? They can already say anything, go anywhere, buy anything (except eternal youth for the moment), choose how much tax they donate/pay to the country that gives them slaves and still resent those who need welfare?
My daughter worked in Washington DC for nearly a year. She explained to me the workaholic attitude of her American colleagues. That made me shudder of the idea of Musk and his robots taking over that beautiful country.
