I am currently tweeking the installation in of a BBS01ET (rack battery) kit. I am looking to add a permanent power supply to the handlebars for charging / using an Android mobile phone

Can anyone please advise if there is a suitable power supply within this kit that I can pick up?

Brian I did this with mine-not the prettiest addition but it's been working for 2 years now, and it's waterproof.
Buck Converter Amazon do it:Amazon

What display do you have? It might (like my DPC18) have a USB output port? If so, it'll only supply 500ma, for a sloooow charge... which is why I carry a power bank which supplies 2A, for faster charging.

Fast charging from 36 or 48V input, epoxy potted, three choices of output connectors. Did everything I needed this summer.

Good alternative, but I wanted a higher current output for mine at 10amps.

Many thanks for the excellent replies, buck converters on order.

I do have a power pack that I considered using but that is just another item to charge, I like the idea of a single power source, so I will connect the head lamps up the same way.

I can't find the one I bought but if all you want to do it keep a phone charged I have something similar to this (Mine had 2 USB connectors). I've had my phone and action cam connected all day and they work perfectly. I just connected to the +ve/-ve controller connections and added a switch and fuse.
