Hi. I have a Freego Eagle and as I have posted before about the rear spokes keep breaking?? after a rebuild seems to have solved the problem (so far!!) but I now have another problem which is every now and then (I ride 10miles to work + returne) the power cuts off for no reason and with a bit of fiddling it comes back on??,the dealer has contacted Freego who say it could be the brake censer! But I am hearing noises from the motor?? Any ideas.( I think the motor itself is the fault but need advice ) Thanks. Steve.

It would be easy to disconnect the brake sensors to see if they were the cause.

I have seen this happen recently to another FreeGo, where the motor would make noise and run intermittantly.

In this instance the rider had damaged the hall sensor wire in the motor cable when he removed the wheel to repair a puncture.

Care should be taken not to put undue stress on the motor cable when cutting the cable ties and releasing the cable from the captive lugs on the frame rear stay.
