Newby to the forum and located in Lincolnshire.
I am trying to replace the throttle on a Powabyke shopper given to me by my sister.
Orginal throttle broken in a low speed fall and couldn't find an original replacement so ordered what I thought was the same of ebay.
However when it turned up it turns out that its not the same connector or wiring.
The old unit had 6 wires, the new one only 5.
I have been told that this can be modified to fit by doubling up 2 of the original wires but loathe to try in case I screw anything else up and the wire colours are different which doesn't help.
Any help, info much appreciated. Have tried contacting Powabyke but as yet no response.
