Interesting Steven, obviously pedelec only and it looks like an old tech brush motor. That type are usually very noisy, but maybe it's got a siren to drown that out! :D

With the central motor protected from bumps by dual suspension, it has the makings of a good off road fun bike and at the right price could find a market if they sold a version without the police gubbins.

It looks interesting but the crank drive has the external appearance of a worm drive or spiral bevel which is a horribly inefficient form of gearbox. Also the video shows the cranks rotating from motor drive (No freewheel) which I don't really fancy.

Yes, I saw the worm drive, fits with the bike though since that sort are inefficient anyway. :( I wouldn't use a bike like this on the road, but with the high ground clearance, strongly cased motor and battery protected by suspension it would be good for rough ground off road fun.

I didn't look at the video so didn't realise there was no freewheel in the gearwheel, but there's a way out of that by using a Cyclone freewheeling chainwheel.

I didn't bother to investigate that deeply Ian, so had no idea of the cost or the supercooled battery.

But it's obviously designed for a certain class of customer. As the saying goes, "A fool and his money are soon parted".

Or that other saying, "The law is an ass", :D
