Hey guys, new to the site. I'm really really stuck right now. I have an ADO branded ebike and its been fine for 4 or 5 months until one day it just had no power from the motor! The power assisted pedalling option has never worked on this bike (either through it being unplugged or dodgy ring maybe) but the full throttle has always worked fine for me. When the back motor no longer responded to me using the throttle I had a last ditch attempt and lifted the back wheel off the ground whilst I changed the gears + turning the pedals and suddenly my throttle worked again? .. It was fine for 2 more days and suddenly when riding it went down again! Now it does NOTHING .. The battery reads approx 40v as it should and some of the plugs on the controller read 36/37v and some others are reading only 0.49v!!! I purchased a new throttle today and it made zero difference! Suddenly now my horn and light do not work anymore either. Any ideas?

I'm going to guess that your motor connector isn't in far enough. It has to be all the way to the marked line, not just in tight. You must check that properly first.

Once you have confirmed that, you can look at the 5v. Disconnect everuthing from the controller except the battery and control panel (if you have one, then measure between black and any thin red that goes to the motor, throttle or pedal sensor.

Hey, do you mean the multipin cable that sits on the rear swingarm region? direct from the hub/motor? .. if so .. ive unplugged that a fair few times and the pins are straight and tight no bends or splits anywhere in the wire

Read what I wrote. It's either to the line or not. Which is it?
