I do think this was an excellent idea. Thanks are due to you for the research you've done. I've always felt that one knows people better if one knows whereabouts they are.

Thanks Tony, but it was Django who worked out a way of using google maps and making it available to others to add there own placemarks.
Just for a bit of fun try typing in Agattu in to google maps and see what happens

maybe we could also add bike dealers and good bike shops that are ebike friendly to the map or indeed have another map for that. The possibilities are endless. Well done chaps

I think it might be better just to keep it to members only or the map could get very cluttered and complicated. That's my opinion anyway

Yes I think your right. Perhaps another map in due course would be the way to go. Lets see how this one goes.

My feeling is simply the more the merrier. It will only look cluttered when zoomed out, but there is plenty of room for all.
For the moment, I would suggest that dealers etc can add themselves if they want to do so and then, if it does start to get silly, we can think about another map. The one we have may take off and prove a valuable resource, or it may yet stagnate.
