Hello all,
I had a secondhand Z-tech Barcelona e-bike. Unfortunately I burned the controller and display, repair shop gives 200 euro solution, since I bought the bike already for 300 euro I wanted to find more economic solution and I order display and controller from amazon.
It needed some connector changes. While applying the change, I realized pedal assist cable at the bicycle has four cable and connector is according to that. But new controller which I buy has a speed assist cable (which looks like same with pedal assist) has 3 cable amd connector according to that. So is it possible to connect them by keeping one of the cable from the pedal of the bicycle unlink to any cable?

or is there anyway to make them compatible and connecting this controller on that bike?
Thanks in advance,

The four wires on the old system means it was a torque sensing BB system, one can't use the TS BB system as the controlller input/outputs are incompatible.

If the TS BB cranks work ok with the wiring disconnected then one may be able to fit the Cadence sensor and magnet disc but we will need to see pics form the drive side, they need to be from above and under the bottom of the bike to see if it is possible.

Other wise if not possible you will have to post pics of the Bottom Bracket with the cranks removed and then we can hopefully suggest something. It will involve buying likely a std english thread Bottom Bracket, if one is lucky the existing crank set may be usable, but we need to see some good clear pics of bothe sides with the crank set on and one with the cranks/crankset off.
