Partial Recharge on Li-on Battery

Is it possible to partially recharge a lithium li-on battery?

Mine is flat, normally takes 6 hours from where it is to fully charge, was going leave it on for an hour before heading out today with a friend?

Is this possible or will it damage the battery?

Don't see any problem with that.
In fact, its probably better than letting it run down close to empty.

I'm with Nick, it shouldn't be a problem. I do it with a laptop all the time. (Although I wouldn't reccomend doing all the time )
