Selling my Oxygen E Mate city, its 5 years old and has done about 7000 miles, I say about because the C100 lcd stopped showing miles a couple of years ago and sticks around 4100 miles, the other functions work ok. The bike has two batteries one the original 15.5Ah from oxygen which is still good for about 30 miles depending on weight/terrain etc and the other a 2 year old 20Ah from Jimmy at BGA. I had modified the carrier so could carry the spare battery on a Euro tour last year. It was a bit superfluous as I only used it once as I was getting 50+ miles plus from Jimmy's 20Ah battery on the flattish river tour. Both batteries have been looked after and kept indoors at approx 37/38v
The drive train has been changed recently with a new 42/52 chainset and chain, new block and derailleur and pedals. I use the 42 chainset almost exclusively at home but on flat tours the 52 can give you a great turn of speed, the Dapu 155 motor is capable of holding 19/20 mph on flat sections.
The bike is shod with Schwalbe Marathon Plus and I don't recall ever having a puncture with this set up, still loads of life in the tyres. Both wheels are true and the rear was trued about 6 months ago, very strong wheels 36 x 12g spokes, i have never had a spoke break and i weigh 105kg.
Fork stanchions are showing a bit of pitting and the frame has a few scratches but other wise its a sound bike and would make a good tourer or commuter.
Selling because my wife and I have just ordered 2 new matching bikes through the Scottish Bike loan scheme and I know it won't get used for touring or day rides now.
Looking for £500, saddle not included but a nice new Cube saddle will be.Bike is near Edinburgh and if interested get in touch for more info or pictures
