Hi folks.

I ask advice from some experienced guys here. I find good advice at least funnels my attention in positive directions sometimes. Posting here rather than searching, mainly because I want to illustrate my perspective, I don\t really have a single question.

I am 6'1 and weigh 15 stone, and I am looking for an Ebike priced in the 1500 region. (Hybrid bike for commuting purposes, fairly hilly where i live).

I looked at Halfords - but I read here that Carrera is unreliable. I don 't see much at all about the raleigh felix bikes, which can't be a god sign.

I saw someone here mention Wisper - the only bike they have I could get is the Torque 905, but only comes in 18" frame. (at 6'1 should I be aiming at 20?)

Only Ebike woosh sell would most likely be too small for me also (Up to 15 stone)

Should I go for a Carrera then, given that I can get one in my size?

There's the Carrera Crossfire (bad) and Crossfuse (much more expensive, but good).
I think the Woosh Big Bear Plus should do you? https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?bigbearplus

Frame measurement was a useful indication of size when almost all bikes had similar geometry; even with differences in Ladies bikes the way the seat tube worked was pretty much the same. Nowadays it is a much less useful measure; lots of bikes have shorter seat tubes but are suitable for taller people with appropriate seat post (often even the standard one). Folding bikes tend to take this to extremes, but even standard ones are very flexible. Either the Wisper or the Woosh 18" might well be very good for you.
