Ordering from topbikekit

Looking to order a controller and other bits from topbikekit in China. At checkout I am getting the following message:-

TAX No.(Personal) or EORI No.(Company) must be noted in the postscript column when EU customers order! Otherwise can't be delivered! (New EU regulations, include DHL, Fedex & Battery Special Line. )

Anybody know what this”tax No.” is ?
Does it apply to the UK as we are no longer in the EU?

Send them an e-mail and tell them you live in the UK and we don't need any of that. Suggest to them to change it because it's causing them to lose UK customers. Somebody else had that, messaged them, and they dropped it for him.
