Hi ya All,

I'm from Finland, close to Helsinki. I've been riding bike but I just ordered my 1st pedelec and I should have it shortly. I hope to replace most my car use with it. My commute is 12.5 km.

The selection process was pretty long, and this is one of the sites I visited time and again for reading and finding information about the bikes. The cold spring did not help any since I could not test ride them until the snow had gone. Some of them really really made me smile big time.

I decided to start a blog about my experiences with the pedelec. Please drop by at
Easy Ride

Cheers,

Z

Welcome, Zombie! Come in from the cold! I also visited this forum many times before going pedelec. It indeed proved most helpful. Tell us which bike you’ve chosen and give us soon your first impressions!

Welcome - and thanks for the link to that document mentioned on your blog page

http://www.eltis.org/docs/tools/GoPedelec-Manual-EN.pdf

Very interesting reading. I was particularly interested in the mention of company Biketec renting batteries at 15 Euros / month. I think that is for Swiss Flyer bikes. That makes a lot of sense - it would be very nice to see such a facility in UK.

Look forward to your reviews of your eBike experiences.

Congratulations on your choice, that's a fine looking well specified trekker. I just wish my Haibike Trekking was also fitted with a chain guard...I could chuck my trouser clip away....

Have fun with your new bike.
Regards
Bob
