Help! opening a [B]BIONX RIDE + battery G2 R420 Wh / 48 V

Hey all,

Can somebody help me with opening a BIONX RIDE + battery G2 R420 Wh / 48 V.



I removed all the screws and the back light and now are trying to open it but it seems to be stuck or locked or...?

I need to open it because I think 1 cell is broken. I measure 0V at the contacts. This happened just one day and I want to know why. I have a degree in electric installations and electronics so I do know the danger of opening the battery.

Can somebody please help me?

A new battery here costs €850... And that is too much for me right now.

Does the top section slide at all ?
If it's not opening after removing any screws then likely the case upper and lower sections may use interlocking snap clips along the joint as well, Bosch and others use these. A non metallic thin object needs to be inserted through the case joint to see if you can pry any clips a part, some clips may break or get damaged if they are utilised.

I'll try to see if this is possible, but it is really a tight gap. I've tried pulling it before but then the case really starts to crack up.
