My b-twin original 700 is now 4 yrs old, the 36v 7.8A battery will take me around 10 miles in the winter and 16 in the warmer weather I have covered 800 miles in that short time which for me is good, due to knees being described as abnormal by the doc. And due the be replaced,And currently on the list for hip replacement .
The e- bike has enabled me to continue cycling, I consider it a great way to get out and about
So I need to consider two things, first upgrade the battery to about 17/21 A or buy a new eMtb.
I am drawn to the first as I rather like the 700e with its full suspension and 21 gears, but has motor tech. Improved over the years that I will gain more distance with a new machine my cycling is on quiet Essex lanes, bridal and farm tracks, no mad stuff for this 75 yr old.I am into comfort cycling so suggestions to this end will help.
