My names Danny and I am a Tricycle rider.
I got involved in Triking through the Atomic-Zombie web site and built my own recumbent trike.
Having seen how well E-Assist augments the trike riding for my friends (who leave me in the dust and are so relaxed in their cycling) I am now adding E-Assist to my trike.
A Bafang 8-Fun mid-drive will be added to the front-end to replace the existing triple chainwheel.
The unit is ordered and will be with me next week some time.
My most recent triking trip has shaken out a few bugs & issues with my trike and these will need to be fully resolved before I can add the electrification.
The trike currently has a SA 3 x 8 hybrid hub on a 26" wheel and the trike is designed to be separable and the alternate version of the rear half will have a SA 8Spd in a 20" wheel.
I am looking forward to the fun.
