hi everybody, i have had a raleigh fold up electric bike for the past twelve months which i only ride off road.
sometimes the trails are too severe for this kind of bike.
so i have purchased an old raleigh lizard in good condition and i am having a cycloelectric front wheel conversion fitted. i am thinking of replacing the gears with a single speed freewheel.
at 74 am i pushing my luck too far. any comments please.
regards pete.

yes, i think you are correct, it is wishfull thinking on my part. i was out yesterday and came home across our local bogs. at least i did not have to carry the bike.small wheels and road tyres did not help. thanks,dc. pete.
