I refuse to ride in these conditions unless I really have to. Car drivers seem to take more risks, and pedestrians step out into the road all the time. Scares me how many accidents there are in hot weather, particularly bikers. I also feel uncomfortable in the heat and didn't feel a breeze even coming down hills at 25mph.
Battery is much more perky though!

Sorry to disappoint you Don, but F1 Quali and sunbathing in the garden won out over a manic cycle path full of kids, bikes, prams,dogs and horses.
As for the normal roads....traffic is horrendous.......this IS Ilminster you know, just off the infamous A303 bypass, main route down to jumping off Lands End....... and the sirens have been going a few times already today.
Early tomorrow will be my time to get out

I'm enjoying a nice day in the garden with the kids
I was out on my bike this morning. A nice run on deserted back roads in the sun then home. It was a perfect day in fact. What made it perfect? When I got home my wife made me Bacon, Eggs & toast. Washed down by a mug of Bewley's Irish breakfast tea.
