As many of you have seen I'm desperately looking for a bike controller with pedal assist, but it seems these controllers no longer exist, yet I think some bikes are still being sold with this feature, so how is this possible? Am I stuck with a "manual ebike" forever? I loved the automatic feature the pedal assist provides, I never, ever had to touch my throttle control.
Would anyone happen to know if the signal from the throttle control and from the pedal assist sensor is the same? I can just plug the pedal assist sensor into the controller's throttle input? I'm pretty sure it's also a hall effect sensor as in the throttle. The wires from the pedal assist sensor on my old controller were labeled:
+5V
GND
TA
Does anyone know what "TA" stands for? It's obviosuly the signal wire but what's "TA"?
Thanks
