NiMh problem

My NiMh charger has just started flashing alternately between red & green, quite rapidly,

would anyone have any idea what this might be ?

i didn't get any documentation with the charger, so am in the dark regarding status codes other than the obvious.

Have you tried the usual unplugging it reconnecting it?

My powacycle Nimh charger did something similar some months back and I just disconnected everything and reconnected 1/2 hour later and all was fine.
