News: Cycle industry sees big potential in electric bikes

An interesting news article appeared on Bike Europe today who conducted a recent poll on whether those in the industry felt that electric bikes would become best sellers over the next few years.

78% of voters said yes and 63% have adjusted their business plan to get the most out of the e-bike boom. More on this here

This is good news for us in that the general biking industry at large sees great potential in electric bikes.

Who were the voters? Bike manufacturers and suppliers I presume though the article doesn't say!

Well they'd better offer us something decent: if they do try to sell us pedelecers substandard ebikes they'll have a rude awakening which could put a dent in their "adjusted business plans" - some hasty readjustment perhaps?!
