Hi, I live in Ireland and I have been giving serious consideration to buying an ebike and doing lots of research, I mainly joined to ask in anyone knows what is the max user weight for a cube 400 whr bike?
I guess I will ask in the buying section as well but here goes, I am 119kg and I'm on a mission to loose weight, my old regular bike has had it day I'm afraid and I do enjoy cycling but not the hills unfortunately and I am surrounded by hills!
I am 5ft6in tall and have an inside seam of 29.5 inches so a cube in everything but elly would be a size 50 and in an elly smaller.
I am open to other brands of ebike and I think I will need a battery with a fair bit of ooomph to take me! My commute to work is short, only 5km each way but I am hoping I will be cycling in and out of the local town which is 14 miles away in no time. I think a minimum of 11 amps and maybe more but my budget is about £1600 incl VAT, a step through is preferable, at worst a ladies, I can push up the cash required if the right bike comes along but if I am do end up buying in the UK I would need to buy the ebike VAT exlc. I can supply a VAT number from my boss who will put some of the payment through for the cycle to work scheme here in Ireland, and we will arrange payment of the VAT here in Ireland to comply with the scheme rules.
